La Falç ( The Sickle) :

The most commonly used agricultural tool by Catalan farmers that offers entity to the national anthem of Catalonia: Els Segadors.
The sickle is, without a doubt, one of the most characteristic symbols of the country and of the most significant episodes of its history.
The ACE of sickles is conferred the image of the "Dansa de la Mort" (Dance of Death) in Verges (a town in the province of Girona) and as a one-of-a-kind folkloric element that represents the country, although using a more modern, closer relative of the sickle: the "Dalla" (Scythe).
